From Classrooms to Lounges: Campus Spaces Get a Summer Refresh
September 4, 2025

Over the summer, Facilities Services staff and contractors hired by the College completed a number of projects aimed at refreshing and improving the spaces where students, faculty, and staff learn, work, and gather.
鈥淓ach of these summer improvements was guided by a simple goal: to make Bryn Mawr鈥檚 spaces more welcoming, functional, and supportive of daily life on campus. Whether it鈥檚 new lighting that makes study and social spaces brighter, refreshed offices that help faculty and staff do their best work, or updated lounges and gathering areas for students, these changes are meant to serve the community and strengthen the shared experience of living and learning here,鈥 says Vice President for Finance and Administration Samir Datta.
