Biography
Values/Strengths:
Helping Others: Something that drove me to enter the field of higher education, college counseling, and career services is that I get to help people in a direct way, both individually and in small groups. I feel very lucky to help people uncover their passions and pursue their dreams.
Teamwork: I enjoy working collaboratively with a group of people to achieve a shared goal.
Individualization: I appreciate the unique qualities and features of people and observe each person’s perspectives and needs.
Harmony: Something I bring to the teams of which I am a part is finding the common ground across differing viewpoints and moving forward in a way that everyone’s input is represented.
Creativity: In the work I do at Bryn Mawr, I am able to create new ideas and programs that meet the changing needs of our students.
My jobs during college were: Peer Career Assistant, Resident Assistant, Orientation Leader, Major Peer Advisor, and Dining Hall Employee.
My first job after college was: Residence Hall Director where I supported a community of first-year students, along with a team of Resident Assistants, to maximize their living-learning experience.
Things I enjoy outside of work are: cooking, gardening, arts & crafts.
