Part of the BMC 2020 Five Years Later Remembrance Event - This Teach-In is hosted by Kira Elliott ‘24 in collaboration with Batten House student residents and activists.

“Transformed Populations: The 2020 Strike, Student Activism, and its Long-Lasting Influence on Political Engagement in the United States,” a teach-in from Kira Elliott ‘24 and discussion on student activism in collaboration with Batten House student residents and activists. Since 1999, Batten House has been housed by upperclass students interested in an environmentally focused co-operative living environment. The Batten Co-Operative is open to any Bi-College, upper-class (sophomore, junior, or senior) student interested in a living and cooking experience that addresses environmental and social justice issues.
