Peace in Progress: Israeli and Palestinian Women's Voices on Justice and Repair
Nimala Karoufeh, a Palestinian healer and educator from Beit Jala, and Noa Harrell, a former Israeli soldier turned peace activist, are coming to Haverford College to share about women who fight for justice in Palestine and Israel. They will share their stories of healing, transformation, and coming to work across divides for a future of repair and solidarity. Noa and Nimala are members of Combatants for Peace, a joint movement of Israelis and Palestinians to nonviolently advocate for a shared future without war and hatred. This event is co-sponsored by the Haverford Center for Peace and Global Citizenship, Bi-Co Atidna, the Peace, Justice, and Human Rights program, Religion Department, IDEA, Distinguished Visitors, and the Kim Institute for Ethical Leadership.
